Below projects developed by YCRDI in Information system direction are described. They demonstrate that YCRDI is able to carry out activities in all directions of information system development. Such directions are electronic and construction design, design automation, testing of final results, development of documentation and design of corresponding software.
Development of systems starting with customer specifications and analyses of the tasks to be computerized as well as system and technical solutions are carried out to best correspond to the customer goals and financial possibilities. They form a set of solutions aimed to a final positive result.
The Institute carries out installation of systems and training of customer personnel in all necessary occasions.
YCRDI was able with assistance of international organizations (USAID, TACIS, GTZ, WB) in short time to develop and implement a number of vital systems for the republic.
Developing different systems with the same "handwriting" it was possible to minimize expenses, to achieve standard solutions and, most important, to lay the foundation of future integrated systems of the republic.
This is the foundation that may allow Armenia to become a test site for interaction of several systems which is difficult in big countries without phased long time testing (e-government and e-governance).
Similar traditions and common original laws will make possible, in case necessity, to implement YCRDI experience in Commonwealth of Independent States taking into consideration existing realities.
